The TERRESTRIA - designed for housing ground-dwelling tarantulas and other invertebrates.
Doors
All TERRESTRIA models feature a top door and, from size XS onwards, an additional front door.
The models in mini and XXS sizes have a round opening on the front instead of a front door, equipped with a rotating lock. This opening can be used to provide food and water, as well as for various maintenance tasks. This means there is rarely a need to open the enclosure door, significantly reducing potential disturbances to the animals.
Ventilation
Ventilation is provided through two opposite areas with ventilation holes (cross ventilation), whose arrangement in the larger models allows for a substrate that slopes upward toward the back.
The diameter of the ventilation holes is 1.5 mm in the mini model, 2.0 mm in the XXS model, and 3.0 mm in all larger models.
Areas of application
The TERRESTRIA mini, XXS, and XS models are suitable for raising spiderlings of ground-dwelling tarantulas, but of course also for other small invertebrates.
The S and M models are designed for keeping small to medium-sized tarantulas.
Materials
All TERRESTRIA are made from 4 mm acrylic glass. The doors are made of nearly unbreakable polycarbonate, which remains dimensionally stable and does not warp even at high humidity. All screws and nuts are made of stainless steel.
Care
Please clean the enclosure only with the included high-quality microfiber cloth in combination with water or a commercially available terrarium glass cleaner.
Miscellaneous
All enclosures in the TERRESTRIA series are 100% waterproof and stand securely on 4 silicone feet.
