The story of ARACHNOsys begins in 2018, when two active terrarium keepers from Germany decided to design their own enclosures. Since we had dedicated ourselves for many years to the keeping and breeding of reptiles, amphibians, and primarily invertebrates, we decided to solve the problem ourselves that no optimized enclosures for keeping invertebrates were offered here in Europe. The standard enclosures on the market did not meet our demands, neither in functionality nor in design.

Regarding the material, the decision was easy: The materials we use, acrylic and polycarbonate, not only allow the production of much lighter and less fragile enclosures but also provide room for the development of new designs and functionalities. These materials enable enclosures with an extremely transparent design without disturbing elements like black plastic parts, perforated sheets, or wire mesh.

Since I worked for many years as a designer and administrator in the CAD field, we use 3D CAD for designing the enclosures, of course also for our custom-made enclosures in various dimensions as well as for individual special constructions, which we also offer.
Part of our test facility.
We extensively test our own products in daily use. Our products were developed "by terrarium keepers for terrarium keepers" and have proven themselves in use for many years.

The components of our enclosures are manufactured by two medium-sized companies in Germany, with assembly and shipping handled by us. We have satisfied customers in almost all European countries, from Iceland to Malta. Shipping to the USA is also offered.

Our enclosures offer a unique, innovative design combined with new, very practical elements that take the keeping of invertebrates to a new level.
By the way, a quarter of our customers stated in a survey that a personal recommendation was decisive for their purchase. The satisfaction of the owners of our enclosures is extremely high, with a return rate close to zero.
We would be happy to welcome you to our customer base and appreciate any feedback!
Reinhold
