Doors
All FOSSORIA enclosures have a door on the top.
Additionally, the FOSSORIA features a round opening on the front, equipped with a rotating lock. This opening can be used to provide food and water, as well as for various maintenance tasks. This means there is rarely a need to open the enclosure door, significantly reducing potential disturbances to the animals.
Ventilation
Ventilation is provided through two opposite areas with ventilation holes (cross ventilation).
The diameter of the ventilation holes is 3.0 mm for all models.
Areas of application
The FOSSORIA is the first choice for anyone who wants to keep subterranean tarantulas or other heavily burrowing invertebrates. It allows for the addition of an extremely deep layer of substrate.
Materials
All FOSSORIA enclosures are made from 4 mm acrylic glass. The door is made of nearly unbreakable polycarbonate, which remains dimensionally stable and does not warp even in high humidity. All screws and nuts are made of stainless steel.
Care
Please clean the enclosure only with the included high-quality microfiber cloth in combination with water or a commercially available terrarium glass cleaner.
Miscellaneous
All enclosures in the FOSSORIA series are 100% waterproof and stand securely on 4 silicone feet.
